My bad...I should've thanked Sab as well. Very well written and GREAT info...although the part at the end about JJ stung a little...not gonna lie. Obviously, you had no idea at the time. How's that for irony?

"Who reading this thought that Janzen Jackson was going to be a Vol up until Signing Day when rumors started to swirl?"

Man...
Great article though. I look forward to 'suprises', but I don't think he saw the current situation coming..Here is to hoping we move past it and continue with building a better program.

Awesome read again Sab! Do you think the robbery fiasco will have any negative impact on recruiting?

There's no question it will impact recruiting. I think a couple of things are important to minimize that impact: Act swiftly and decisively. The longer the limbo goes on between action and punishment, the more impact it has.

Second, don't let it affect the team. We still have to come out and give a premier effort on the field on Saturday. Any less will have many questioning Kiffin's ability to focus this team and to lead in times of difficulty, which are most certain to occur during any coach's tenure.

No one person is the program. Even the best players can be replaced and their loss minimized. That will be much easier in the case with Nuke and Edwards than with Jackson. Jackson was a budding star. But it is a blip on the scope in terms of the long-term future of the program.

Thank you to all. I am glad that you guys get so much out of my updates. I put a lot into them, but it's all worth it when so many people get so much out of it.
