Tennessee number 12 Massey Ratings vs. Missouri number 39 Massey Ratings. Massey predicts Tennessee to win 72 to 65.

A tough team to guard as four of their starters shoot 35 percent from the three or better. The gameplan has to be to limit the three and make them drive the ball. I would think we would extend a zone making the outside shot as tough as we can without giving up the blow by two point shot to the basket. I think Tennessee should also be able to get to the basket and score hopefully our three point game is on as well. Need to play solid perimeter D and keep them off the foul line to win this game.

I hope they mop these Mizzou players off the floor! And our Lady Vol faithful will show them how fans can root a team with class and dignity!

Ugh... The thought of Cunningham... she is so nasty. Hope they don’t let her get away with her usual dirty play..... literally violent - like just before punching someone in the face!

Tennessee tries to get back on the winning track versus number 16 Kentucky. Kentucky is a very strong team with excellent three point shooting and power play around the basket. Tennessee will need a far better shooting effort to prevent two losses in a row at home.

Tennessee hits the road with a two game home losing streak to play Georgia. Tennessee is 1 and 2 in the SEC and rated number 20 by Massey. Georgia is 2 and 1 in the SEC rated number 55 by Massey. Tennessee is rated a 72 to 67 winner of this game. Tennessee fans are hoping to see better decisions with the ball and much better free throw and field goal shooting in this game.

Lady Vols will have to play Connally tough she is a 45 percent three point shooter. Tennessee has been quite relaxed in their play versus top three point shooters. Robinson is a big inside threat Tennessee must defend and prevent the offensive rebounds and second chance points.

This will not be an easy game for the LV's. All of Georgia's 5 losses have come on the road, they are undefeated at home (though their home schedule has been weak so far).
We will have to, as always, do the following to win:
1) Limit turnovers. Since we won't kill Georgia on the boards like we did to Missou and Kentucky, we will need to maximize fg attempts. Too many turnovers will result in too few shots.
2) Make a good percentage of free throws. In a game that will probably be decided by less than 5 points, we can't afford to give any away.
3) Make a good percentage of "easy" shots. It seems impossible that a team with so many highly rated players can miss so many point blank shots, but they do.
4) Cover Georgia's only 3 point shooter. No further explanation is necessary.

Tennessee number 26 Massey Ratings take on Alabama number 121. Tennessee is a ten point 78 to 68 favorite to win the game. Tennessee goes into the game with a three game losing streak to a team that Pat Summitt recorded a 37 and 2 record against. Another loss here would be devastating to Tennessee fans hopefully we can find some way to win this one.

Alabama shooting 39 percent from the field as a team and 31 percent from the three point line. Lady Vol fans are wondering if Tennessee can put a full 40 minute effort together and get their second conference win. Alabama has won one SEC game over Florida and then lost three straight. Tennessee has a win over Auburn and three straight losses. One of these team will get their fourth SEC loss in a row. Tennessee needs to break the Bama streak hopefully we can play well enough to do it.
