Would he really be considered a villain in that? I just bought the books, really looking forward to reading them I don't want to get off topic, but I didn't like The Maze Runner much, but I heard the books are really good.

That being said, he did really good in The Revenant. There are some great behind the scenes videos on YouTube The Revenant talking about the scenery, weather challenges, etc.

I'd consider him somewhat of a villain, without giving away too much.

You'll like Scorch Trials (the movie). Even if you didn't like the first one, Scorch Trials is very different, in a good way.
