Oh and how can I forget, special teams.

Palardy was on it today. The coverage on KOs and punts was excellent

Sometimes a loss unites a team in way they had never been united. Note to Gamecocks - be ready for battle.

The Florida and the Georgia game were both set up for us to win. in the end though, we are 0-2 in those games. Although the team has learned to fight for 4 quarters, they still have not learned how to win. I do believe that will come with time and experience. I think the reality is we will need to be patient for two more years.

Hopefully the positives from the results of this game will far outweigh the negatives.

1.) Hopefully our team "grew up" yesterday and finally understands what it takes to compete and win in big games.

2.) Hopefully our QB grew up yesterday and turned the corner on what it takes to step up and the be the leader of this team that he needs to be.

3.) Hopefully this game will be a positive influence on the recruits that attended the game yesterday and will sway them to become VFL's.

And for the first time in A VERY LONG TIME, I wasn't disappointed over this loss. Not with the way this team played.

You can't be a true Vol fan. A lost is always disappointing. But I do get what you probably mean. You aren't disappointed the Vols made it a game and lost mainly because we beat ourselves on our last offensive play instead of being de-brained by an opponent practicing hack surgery.

============Different Post & Topic=====

Remember when we replaced him with some black dude? Never again.

No need to drag race into this, jacksnapper. Michael Palardy was replaced by a 3rd string walkon who was neither suited up nor even on the field for a home game. It doesn't matter if Derrick Brodus was Black, Korean, Turkish, Jewish, Maori, or even Russian. He is a Vol who happened at the time to be basically an unused player.

As for Mike, he's finally gotten what he should have gotten long ago, some solid coaching. Palardy has finally begun to be the palladin of our kicking game.

Didn't get there until 2. By the time we parked and caught the shuttle it was almost 3. Met Volly at bout 3:15 in the breezeway. I tried telling the wife we needed to leave early.

It was very nice to meet you! Thank you for taking the time to meet up.

That game was ridiculous!!! I was wore out by the time it was over.

Yep. I was happy to see jones play fast and loose with the offense. Let these dudes throw the ball, find a rhythm, gamble a bit.

Real interested to see us vs SCAR.

I admit I have criticized our coaching staff for playing conservative, it was awesome to see them go for it. And we played really good.

That's one way of putting it

If this guy can take a team full of Freshman and kids that he didn't recruit and do this much of a turnaround in 9 months, can you imagine what it will be like in a few years when all the skill players are Juniors/Seniors and he actually has a QB who can run his full system?

Just when the SEC thought they didn't have to worry about us anymore, we come creeping back up on them.

Not exactly sure where you get the we beat ourselves on the last offensive play from. How does the ball slipping out of a players hand while he is making a dive for the end zone to hopefully win the game constitute us beating ourselves?

The same guy that lost the ball is also one of the main reasons we were in the game to begin with.
