The Rich Get Richer

Hmmm...I don't think people around here are hip on just filling the line up with bodies. If he was just a true 3 star I doubt people would be all excited about that.

at this point in time, people on here would shoot off fireworks for a 3* DT

Still nothing to get excited about. 9-3 is better than 6-6, people supposed to get excited about that?

If the Vols cannot reel in a significant number of 4* & 5* linemen prospects, then they at least need to get some guys who have the right frames for development. I started a new thread in an attempt to get info on possible in-state sleepers.

From the Auburn site. Committed to Auburn. He says that the staff and the way they bond with the players was a big reason he made the call. He also likes the fact that Auburn is so close to home.

• Speaking of LSU, five-star linebacker Jelani Jenkins from Wheaton (Md.) Our Lady of Good Counsel wasn't able to take an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge this past weekend, but his mother and stepfather did. Jenkins' mother, Stephanie Hall, and his stepfather, Earnest Hall, were in New Orleans for a conference and decided to stay an extra day to check out LSU. Both attended part of a scrimmage, spoke with coach Les Miles, spent quite a bit of time looking at the academics side of things and toured the campus. Both came away with a favorable impression. Jelani, with help from his mother, stepfather and natural father (Maurice Jenkins), will narrow his list of schools to 10-12 in the next couple of weeks.

• Homestead (Fla.) South Dade defensive end Ed Stinson has committed to Florida State, but sources tell me that he will take at least one more official visit, and possibly others, before deciding. The other school? LSU.
.

• People close to Craig Loston, the five-star safety out of Aldine (Tex.) Eisenhower who is committed to Clemson, tell us that Loston is unlikely to end up at Clemson. In fact, Loston has visited Texas and Texas A&M within the last two weeks and LSU also remains a possibility.

is LSU a freaking monster or what?

Per another board, Rivals #2 rated middle linebacker Nico Johnson of Andalusia, AL has committed to Bama. Not unexpected. The rich, apparantly, get even richer :bad:
