The RINO list.

That is correct. I think the R's need to get control of both Houses of Congress before any form of a "purity" test is given. Anyone designated with a (R) should get the vote and if there is not one write in "spare tire" before a (D).
What would a Republican "purity" test involve?

Is it policy-driven, and therefore related to a member's voting record?

.... or would it simply be a litmus test for allegiance and subservience to Donald Trump?

Because based on nothing but her voting record, it doesn't make any sense to label Liz Cheney as a "RINO." Her voting record was standard issue GOP, straight down the line. She simply didn't like Donald Trump, and she took a public stance against him.

This is why it is fair to call the Republican Party, in its current state, a "Cult of Personality." The only thing which truly matters is whether or not members of the party unconditionally support and defend Donald Trump .... regardless of what he has done.

The Republican Party echo chamber on here, will not reply to this post with anything other than "what-about-isms."

Unlike the dem party which are all communists, it’s good the R is a big tent party. There is diversity in the R party.

There is no chance this was said with a straight face.

The Republican Party is a big tent alright ... as long as you are a heterosexual Caucasian who likes Donald Trump.

You mean like Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, Rubio, Cruz, the mayor of Miami etc?

I don't know what it would involve because I don't agree with one. Cheney got caught up in mis-representing her constituents in Wyoming who did not agree with her conscience.

Republican Party Dying Due to Lack of Diversity: Pew Report

https://about.bgov.com/news/diversity-lacking-in-gop-leadership-despite-claims-of-progress/

You named 3 members of Congress ...

Congrats, but in Congress, the GOP is still the Grand Old White Party .... as long as you are also homophobic, and kiss Donald Trump's a$$.

The Senate is a better representation of diversity. The R's have 4 non-white senators and the D's have 8. You would think it would be more,

The house normally makes up the population they represent. Like urban voters are normally dems and rural voters are republicans.

In other words, Liz Cheney failed the current Republican Party litmus test, or "purity" test, as you called it.

Based on her voting record alone, Liz Cheney was as much of a Conservative as anyone currently in the House of Representatives. This serves as proof that the Republican Party has devolved into nothing but a Cult of Personality, where dissent of Trump is swiftly struck down.

Like I said, Liz did not represent her constituents just like Dan Lipinski (D) did not in Illinois. He did not tow the line of the democratic litmus test for abortion and did not believe you should snuff out life in the womb of a mother. He got voted/primaried after a 37 year career.

And you and your party are known as the former democrat party now the communists. Requirements to be in your party: unlimited abortions, free stuff for the lazy worthless base, payoffs from the Chinese and try to collapse the American economy

Can you define what makes a person a communist, or do you just use the term as an all-purpose putdown?

Even if one accepts what you say as being accurate (and it actually doesn't make any sense), there is at least a membership requirement concerning policies and ideological beliefs for Democrats, rather than simply being the unconditional allegiance to one man, where policies and ideologies are irrelevant, as is currently the case with the Republican Party (a.k.a. "The Cult of Trump").

Trump.ia the ultimate RINO...he's fiscally on of the most liberal Presidents ever.
Donald Trump is not a conservative. That's for sure. Trump doesn't truly stand for anything but his own best personal interests. Trump is unprincipled. Everything revolves around political viability with him.
