The Rivals 2010 Top 100

Demar Dorsey is a 6'1 DB/WR with 4.25 speed, if he's not in the top-50 at the end of the year, I'll be really surprised. He better be in the top-250 this week or that's a huge red flag for this early list. Dowling and Hampton, the other 2 Florida 2010 DB commits are already in the top-100. I hope that one of those 3 has a change of heart and Lamarcus Joyner stays out of Gainesville. That is an unbelievable DB class for one state.

When is this sub 4.3 crap going to end? I can't believe recruits still get listed with that stuff. Anyone see the NFL Combine? You know what I mean then.

there is a timed video on Scout. I matched up a digital stopwatch with the video and 4.25 seems about right. There's no horn or digital clock on screen, but I think 4.25 is believable. Who cares if it's really 4.25 or 4.37? The kid is flying in his video.

Vols at today's campus pro day---

Lucas Taylor 4.36
Josh Briscoe 4.39

hand-timed and a fast track can make a difference.

For people who saw them play the past few years, I doubt anyone would have predicted either at sub 4.4 today.

running surface/digital or hand-time, that stuff makes a difference.

yeah briscoe never seemed very fast. taylor did, but I wouldn't have said 4.36. You think either will be drafted?

I think Taylor could go in the late rounds, but I think he'll at least get a call or two after the draft, but I'm not really someone to do mock drafts.

looked at the new 100, noticed almost every defensive player had us listed (most likely because of monte). Where is Jake Heaps?
