Now that is awesome. The guy hates UT football and Christmas. He probably kicks his dog too. He needs to go.

If only this could be true, It would be great! Ironicly Haslem and the Board of Trustee's are probably happy with him.

Good counterpoint, but I think I'd just ban of all holiday parties right now.

It all boils down to trying to be politically correct and not wanting to offend anyone. We live in a world where society has taught our kids that anytime their feelings are hurt, they are the victims, and anyone who dares challenge them or makes them feel bad about themselves, is a hater, or a bigot, or an oppressor, or just racist. It's really gotten out of hand.

On the heels of the gender neutral pronoun crap, this is just stupid. What in the Sam Hill is going on up there?

I agree, but it's a public school. Would you also be cool with celebrating Hannaukha, Ramadan, etc? Have a Mosque next to the Baptist Student Union?

I teach my children what they need to know. They know to ignore society. It starts and ends at home.

Cracks me up that a large % of people that complain about taking prayer out of schools rarely ever take their kids to church.

Have you ever checked out the official gameday thread? No one is safe!

Why not? If anyone wants to celebrate the flying spaghetti monster, I don't give a damn. Freedom OF religion does not mean freedom FROM religion.

You also have a right to be offended. There is no right to not be offended. However, if I offend you it means that I matter to you. Most people are incapable of offending me because they don't matter to me.
