The Roger Stone Trial

Trump has spent his entire life conning, lying, manipulating, and intimidating. He is a shyster.
That so many believe he is the one who is bringing the truth never ceases to amaze.
This is certainly the greatest con job of his life.
And he'll write a best seller tell-all when he's done, whether it's Jan '21 or Jan'25, explaining how his base are the dumbest citizens in the country. Since he's been POTUS, he's already made the comment that he's a total act and he doesn't understand why people don't get it

P.T. Barnum would be envious. (There's a sucker born every minute)

The irony of you attributing a quote he never actually made is not missed by me. You live by your own set of "facts".

It was actually made by a competitor commenting on Barnum's success.
Never miss an opportunity to defend the leader of a circus.

The fact that you actually believe you are factual is ironic.

Nice try though.

I'll stick with my historical sources. Most believe it was actually David Hannum who said, a competitor of Barnum's, because he couldn't believe the public fell for Barnum's schtick. It's been said it wasn't in Barnum's nature to criticize his customers for fear of offending them, and thus hurting his own business.

Maybe you should dig a little deeper?

The quote is traced much earlier, but stick with whatever source you wish. It has nothing to do with the point of my post.
You knew that but were just itching to find an opportunity to get in a dig.
That's fine, I sort of take it as a complement.

I really don't see much of a difference between those who buy into Trump's BS and those who buy into the Dem's BS. Personally, I think anyone who has faith in a politician is a sucker.

There's not a huge amount of difference. The difference is that Trump is horrendously despicable and intentionally being divisive.

So like I said, they're the same.
Not in the least, but we've been down this road a few hundred times.
You keep normalizing and I'll keep pointing out just how abnormal Trump is.
Those are obviously the roles we've selected for ourselves.
