The Rose Bowl Florida State vs Oregon

I'm sorry but what in the actual **** are you talking about.... The expansion team that didn't do anything for 20 years is kind of the "FL team" the state of Florida is prominent dolphin fan base I can guarantee that even with how craopy they have been the last decade. Lol I literally can't even take you serious (yea Tampa bucs are pretty much FL team) huh?

How long have you been in FL and where are you located? Do you think everyone bases their rooting interest strictly on a team winning? If so that would be bandwagon not fans. As I said, we were predominantly Bucs fans in our area, and by a pretty wide margin despite being closer to Miami. I came across very few Dolphins in rural FL. FTR, I never said there was more Bucs fans than Dolphin fans. I'm saying those outside of the metro areas tend to lean towards Tampa in my experience.

I personally think Oregon wins by at least two touchdowns. I don't know why, I just have a feeling that Florida State doesn't really deserve to be there. Just think they've been begging for someone to beat them, and I think Oregon will be more than happy to spank them.

My feeling was right. An absolute beatdown. Loved every second of it.

Miami has been irrelevant to Florida north of Palm Beach county for a looong time. And by long time I mean forever.

Not to mention they're not even in Miami.

I'm guessing by his name, he's somewhere in Dade or Broward Co. They forget there's another world outside the I-95 corridor from PB to Homestead.

No, I base that off the fact that the dolphins are the original team in the state of Florida with a huge fan base and solid reputation for 30 years.. I would confidently say ut is the statewide favorite in Tennessee too or would you call that a stretch? I live in South palm Beach County and lived in Florida for 30 years and went to school at universe of South Florida go Bulls and my fiance went to ucf so I spent many Sundays at campus bars with majority fins... On Sundays in Tampa I saw more dolphins jerseys than bucs 2 seasons removed from there superbowl... Maybe North of yeehaw Junction but from Orlando down its dolphin fans seeing as how the Majority of the college students come from West Palm Beach / Broward County.

Literally has nothing to do with the fact that the dolphins were a top team from 70s to the marino years . they are a pretty popular fan base... As a matter of fact my dad a tenn grad told me when he got to Knoxville there were tons of dolphin fans from Knox all the way to Atlanta because the south didn't really have a solid team to root for.. Kinda like the braves are huge throughout dixie.. That's like saying the Browns have been terrible for 40 years so everyone outside of greater Cleveland hates the Browns

You need to experience real Florida, everything 30 miles inland, north to south, outside of Orlando.

Bud my family own land in the boonies outside of Clewiston.. I grew up hunting and fishing spending summer at my aunt and uncle home in Ocala... Ive lived on the east and west coast pretty much experienced all of Florida...I know the concept that a redneck could live in yuppie Broward or Latino Dade doesn't make sense but there are tons of us down here in the everglades... And it still doesn't change the fact that the state of Florida is a dolphin state lol

Labelle right off 80

Haha. Graduated from LaBelle HS. Spent my first 14 years in Clewiston then moved to LaBelle for high school. Not a road in Hendry County I don't know. My family's been there since the early 1900's and my great, great uncle helped coin the name Belle Glade.

The 39-point loss Florida State suffered in the Rose Bowl was the worst by a defending national champion in a bowl game.
