After watching most teams this weekend I believe the league is stronger than it’s been in a long time. There will be a lot of upsets! Running the gauntlet ain’t going to be easy. Feelings are going to be hurt all over the conference.

You guys need to have your eyes checked. The SEC is always the best conference in college football BY FAR. Recruiting rankings as well as the NFL Draft prove it to be true every year.

Across the board, yes. SEC is still the conference to beat. However, SC got beat up by UNC, UF lost to Utah, and LSU about to lose to FSU.

Vols vs Va went as it was supposed to, but no other SEC team played anyone worth a damn. So out of the 4 actual SEC games, Vols were the only victors.

Umm. Only three SEC programs played teams with a pulse this weekend. Florida and USC already lost. LSU is in a battle which could go either way.

Lets pump the brakes just a bit.
It stopped going either way. LSU is getting embarrassed now.

Maybe Tenn IS still the 2nd best SEC team.

I guess what I should have said is it looks like the gap is closing from top to bottom.

Definition of a Dilemma: When you are a UT fan, should you root for other SEC schools to WIN so as to help bolster our Schedule of Strength rating or, root for fellow SEC schools to LOSE to help UT in the rankings?

Vols will probably be on an island with Ole Miss. The obvious 1&2 will be UGA and Bama. Vols and Miss will more than likely be 3&4 with very good records (10-2). Below them will all be .500 teams that eat each other.

I was just thinking maybe the ACC is closer to our league than most would like to admit

Can anyone remember the last time that LSU and the Gayturds LOST their first (non conference) games of the season? (and Cocks thrown in for good measure!!)

Hold onto your britches Missy, it's gonna be a helluva ride!!!

I look at it as pretty wide open, honestly. I think UGA, Bama, LSU and Tennessee could all win the league this year.

I agree but we are the only team to beat a power 5 opponent this week…they’ve got some contenders
They have 2 teams that are led by top Heisman contenders. They should be able to beat some good teams . I don’t think USCjr looked good the other night . They seemed likely a poorly coached team from kickoff. I only saw the opening drive for LSU and despite the first play they seem to lack a dynamic offense.
