Hey, it's a message board and we've all gotten past the fact that 95% of the conjecture posted in the bball board is just that, conjecture. But if anyone really has anything concrete about what's going on internally, it's time to let 'er rip in the land of anonymity.

I posted a few days ago before the Charleston game that Pearl had lost the team. Anyone could have seen that.

Is there not ONE poster on this board that has spoken with a player or coach about these losses? I know LWSVol is the go-to guy for football, do we not have one lurker that has more than a passing dart-throw of an idea what is REALLY going on here?

Seems someone here should know something....

I was reading quietly and not participating when I saw your moment of self doubt and felt that, I too, MUST speak out. I am outing myself as a lock-in groupee as a 13 yr old. I loved seeing those in the bulletin. At 13, I'd have walked the aisle with every head NOT bowed for two more of those delightful, church sponsored, fornication-fests per year. I KNOW we are not the only ones. I'm here and I'm proud :rock:. That's all I've got....no insight on CBP, no new gameplans....just that.

If players read this and it affects their play, then we have an answer as to what is wrong with this team.

There not playing as hard as previous Pearl teams. The 3 point shooting is awful, and we seem to blow fast break points. Turnovers are becoming a real problem. UT has time to turn it around and still make the tournament. Got to get to 20 wins minimum which seemed almost assured a weeks ago.

Also, how many unbalanced, weak-arse leaners/twisting floaters(?) did Tobias take? My goodness. I know he's young and being heavily relied upon, but square your body up son. Ever heard of a jump-stop? Weak 8 footers won't get it done, GO STRONG. @ the very least, square up and shoot balanced. Of the shots I'm referencing, he couldn't have been better than 30%. (And these were in the paint) Cmon kid. You're supposed to be "fundamentally sound" That aint.

This. That kid killed us at the CofC game.

At least he did rebound and try to play hard. He did miss shots that he normally makes. However, the entire team played poorly, especially on defense.

This sounds like an argument I would make if you or anyone else were bashing Hopson and the way he used to play.
