If I’m not mistaken, there’s a clause they sign with the FAA that during a shutdown, they can’t take off work (take leave) or may be terminated. As always, that job has a shortage and is very stressful. Even with today’s tech, it’s a tough job.

The wall will work for the border. This is the only reason the DEMs oppose it. They need to manufacture voters to gain power. Before they were against it they were for it when the Unions wanted to protect their workers. The DEMs have moved on from that and now see a bigger advantage to allowing illegals in and giving them voting rights. They could care less about MS13 Killings and Actual US Citizens being harmed by this.
