1. That was a great job by Kenny Hall to step up and play like he did today. I'll take 10 boards and 3 blocks every game from him, especially how active he was.

2. This teams has to understand that they can dribble when teams press. You want to make smart plays, but it kills this team because they don't get any buckets off it and they get in their offense with about 20 seconds left in the shot clock, which isn't enough time for a motion offense.

3. Another solid performance from Jordan McRae. It's starting to get there.

4. Skylar McBee did a great job of stretching the D.

5. You know how you win close games? Going 21-26 from the FT line. You do that, you'll win the close ones.

6. Great job by the team making sure that USClite didn't come fully back. They got close, but UT put them away. That's nice to see from a young team.

7. But it's obvious we need Jarnell Stokes. Maymon and Hall played 32 minutes and 35 minutes respectively. That will kill your post players' legs.

8. Without Stokes, Tennessee won against an SEC opponent. You take the win, and focus on a great opportunity against Florida for a huge, huge win.

I'd say 1st half only. He didn't play that well in the 2nd half. Too many turnovers.

Thinking I will head down to Gainesville in my proper Orange on the 11th. I live in Jax and always go to UT-FL game. Think we have a punchers chance. They backed down to us last time. Should be a physical game. Go Vols!

2nd half...0 points, 1 rebound, 2ast 1to

Played decent defense and didn't force the issue. Wasn't a great performance, but give me a couple more made baskets and I'll take that every time from Jordan.

Dude. Just stop. We get it.

What? That Trae deserved mention for playing a solid game and icing it with his three point play?

Seems fine to me. Why you come in here after a win and that's your only post?

Dude. Just stop. We get it.

what is your issue with him and people that talk about him? i hate on golden when he does bad, go back and read for a change if you dont think so, hell go look in the game thread i made comments on negative things he did.

all i was saying that that was a good game but golden and i thought it deserved some credit. funny thing how many minutes did your boy mcbee see at point? 0

golden played a very good game, it was simple as that altidore. the fact is he is our pg the next 2 years i suggest you better get used to it or quit watching.

quote from ccm so you dont try and argue:

"When it is all said and done, if he continues to work to exhaustion and push himself to be the best, he has a chance to be one of the best guards in the league when it is all said and done."

he's your starting pg the next 2 years, suck it up alti.

I have to admit, he's played some pretty good defense his last two games.
Fronting his man much better and getting his hands into the passing lanes.
Much better effort.
Need him to keep it coming on the road.

from ccm:

jarnell is day to day right now

he was in shoot around and we made decision about 5 minutes before game

....

sounds to me like hed have gone if it was uk or uf, but ccm felt we could win without him and he'd be 100% for uf that way JMO

3 of the last 4 games have looked promising. i really hope the trends continue.
