i love this about ccm:

asked if he has a chart he follows for minutes and trends, or just eye ball it, he said he absolutely just eyeballs it. said kenny wanted to come out at one point and they said no you're fine.

I'm really starting to believe in McBee. He's plays hard, is hitting 3s consistently, is money from the free toss line, and the crowd going ape-shiz bananas after every positive thing he does can't hurt his confidence.

i really hope he has found the consistency in his stroke. if he can shoot that way away we are much better. its not just him either, 50%from 3 tonight, ill glady take 40% away. we showed we can do it now translate it on the road.

:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

bob asked ccm if they will talk to the refs prior to the game in UF, he said no we dont do that. we'll just go out there and play. went on to say we play tough hard nosed defense, we dont foul. :)

I was most impressed with the ball movement and reversal on offense tonight.
Kids are starting to get it.
If you noticed during their 7 minute coma, they did revert back.
Also in that period 5 turnovers on six possessions I was getting worried.
Good win!

Cams decision making is about as bad as I have seen. It's a shame because he has scored a lot of points.

Especially in the 2nd half, he seemed to lose focus and play like we had a 50 point lead. That attempted lob late in the game was completely unnecessary.

Good game summary and good win for the Vols. UT gave great effort most of the game and made big plays when they needed to tonight. USC caught a spark in the second half but it wasn't enough to win.

Agreed. He was forcing it a lot today. His shot fell pretty well today though. Maybe getting 1000 points will make him more confident in his shot.

Everyone else's play was encouraging though, especially Hall and McBee.

Cam played well the first half, and most of the second, it's just some head scratching plays when we had the lead that really bothered me. You can't have those, especially from a 5th year senior.

To get to .500 or above we have to have all these wins over the bad ones. Can't get caught with our pants around our ankles.

IMO only justifiable losses remaining would be @florida vs Vanderbilt and maybe @ bama depending on the Mitchell situation. IMO the rest of those games should absolutely be wins,, we are more than capable of winning those games.

We need all the remaining easier games and probably 2 out of 3 of those tough ones to have a chance to dance, I can't give up hope

They're getting a little better. Not sure what the ceiling is for this team. Steal a couple on the road. Make a strong showing in the SEC tournament and you never know.

Thought that was hysterical I died when he said it cause he said it in his typical no emotion dead serious voice.

On another a note: anybody know what day rpi ranking update?

Very old school, in a good way. Bill Parcells was famous for this when running backs would put their hand on their heads and he would just stare back at them with a "Yeah? Got an itch?" look on his face.

Does that include last night? Not that that's bump us much.

You said Uconn win bumped us 20 spots?

It fluctuates day to day. What other teams do that you've played also affects it. I bookmarked a link and watch it every day.
On Uconn, they were spiraling down when we played them so it's hard to say exactly how much we jumped. It was something like 20 to 25 positions.

Here's a pretty reliable link if you want to keep an eye on it:
