Colorado is today in the conversation since the last time they won an upset in the BigXII championship game in 2001.

What do you think the chances are that nothing gets better at Colorado and Prime Time will be looking for another job in December 2025 or December 2026?

Mine too my first memory of Colorado football was the QB I’m sorry can’t remember the name he died of cancer in the season, then it seemed like CU was starting to make noise after that, Bill Mcartney was a good coach..I had some Colorado gear as a kid

Sal Aunese. I remember reading a huge SI write up on him and his death right about the time Colorado was really getting to be a football power.

Nebraska fans painted this on a road in Nebraska in 1989

Prior to what's in that clip, he might have been saying something along the lines of, 'This is what I will expect and if that does not work for you, the portal is open.' I doubt he would tell the whole room to hit the portal, only for them to respond positively to his descriptions of the players he's bringing in.

what does it mean that UT stole butch jones from the buffs?

I think at the time, both the UT and UC were desperate. We Jones because he was closer to us than Colo. and we had a bit more money to offer. Added to that was our administration's outright stupidity.

I know we are all Peyton sheep, but he had a role in that, and also in Schiano almost coming. I try to not be mad about it.

SSSSHHHHHH! You foolish creature. There be folks here who would lynch, drown, corrode. wood shredder, and bulletize you all at once for daring to speak less than utter praise of the Vol-god. Run while you can, bub, run, run, run. See Bub run. Run Bub, run, run, run, run.

For you millennials and Gen-Z who may be flummoxed by the above, this refers to the baby boomer 1st grade reader.

With USC,UCLA and probably Oregon and Washington leaving the PAC then Buffs could dominate soon.

I think there is a much better chance he does very well there. He will have everything going for him.
However, after seeing what he said to that team yesterday and him naming his boy the QB, I hope he fails in historic fashion, which I’m not sure is possible At Colorado. The level of fail they have accomplished is hard to beat.
