The stupidity of Team Nico

^^^^ Spin Doctoring ^^^^

The Iamaleava camp knows they must shift the narrative away from greed. Nico's reputation is taking a beating.
Too late. Word is already out how all this went down. Anyone buying their newfound grievance hasn’t been paying attention. Sure…they wanted an extra $2M just for O line and receivers.

Kinda funny that we had starting receivers leave and/or threaten to leave. Makes me wonder if Nico wasn’t the issue, can’t hit a bull in the ass with a palm leaf fan.
Nothing is being said about how Nico could have at least been somewhat responsible for the subpar passing game last season. The Iamaleava camp would like you to believe that it was just poor protection, with WR's who couldn't get open, in the framework of an ineffective scheme.

The problem with that, is that the people who watched the games, saw how inaccurate he could be, and how late he often was with his throws. He was indecisive. We also remember him running out of bounds on the last play vs Arkansas. That was boneheaded.

We also remember how electric Heupel's system was in 2022, when we had a good QB. Tennessee led the nation in scoring offense. Hendon Hooker was a Heisman candidate. Jalin Hyatt won the Biletnikoff Award. Tennessee went 11-2.

Good luck at UCLA, Nico .... No chance you'll ever get sacked in that backfield. LOL.

Well you are wrong. I been practicing law for almost 30 years in Tennessee and Georgia.

Again “you know not of what you speak.”

Well…I practiced patent law on a contingency basis for quite a few years. If a contingency venture can make money, and isn’t precluded by ethics, lawyers will follow.

The problem with this potential “case” is that the damages likely would be capped…. I can’t see them getting more than the original deal offset by what he gets at UCLA. And the liability issue will be very difficult, too. I wouldn’t touch the case on an hourly or contingency basis, but that is based only on what I know from the surface.

Not so sure he is headed to a “college” town.

“UCLA’s average of 49,162 fans for home games this 2024 season at the Rose Bowl is on pace to be its highest since 2018, when it averaged 51,164 during coach Chip Kelly’s first season."
