The Sub Sandwich Hierarchy

Subway is disgusting.
I loved Jersey Mikes until they bailed on us here in Sevierville. Firehouse is my new favorite. Never eaten at a Jimmy Johns.
I like The taste of Quiznos, but yeah, due to portion size totally not worth it. And again see Jersey Mikes above.

Nobody else has tried Potbelly?

Potbelly would be at the top of my list. Head and shoulders above the rest mentioned here. After relocation to NC from the DC area, Potbelly's is one of the places that I truly miss on a regular basis. I miss a good The Wreck and a whole pickle from the jar.

I also think a solid competitor to the chain shops is the deli counter at the local Publix. Sandwhich is good...made to order, portions are great, and the price is low. One of these sandwhiches is good for two lunches.

In a four box panel is would rank great on price and decent on quality, placing it squarely in the great value quadrant.

Potbelly is absolutely delicious.

I think Penn Station is massively overrated

Even though Subway is easily the cheapest, it's a no brainer to avoid.

Quizno's isn't even a full rung above Subway.

Firehouse is ok, but not as good as the hype imo.

Love Jersey Mike's. Probably my sentimental favorite. I had a friend who used to work there that could get me free sandwiches. but proportion, freshness and flavor make it great regardless.

Jason's Deli is expensive, but very diverse with lots of options. Very tasty too. Can't put it above Jersey Mike's.
