Found this on a political forum. Thoughts like these are much more vile than the imagined thoughts they try to quell. Funny how this person thinly veils wanting to squash first amendment rights for every American under the guise of keeping every one safe including the protesters themselves. Simply unacceptable!

Read Below:

The racist hate fest that took place in D.C. on September 12 can never be repeated. Crazed, foaming rightists displayed contempt for our nation , our process, and our President under the guise of freedom of assembly. I work for a Democratic Nashville Congressman with whom I have not and will never broach this subject, because the momentum has to come, apparently organically from our supporters, minority and union members who know this zeitgeist of pure hate, reviling African Americans, gays, immigrants-particularly our undocumented workers, and Muslims, can simply not be tolerated in the interests of comity and good order. I can not identify myself or my employer because of the sensitive nature of this request. If you love our country and want to preserve our diversity and prevent anarchy, we must impose certain limits on speech and assembly. Please start calling your Representatives in the US House and describe your fears not only for your safety-you feel this was like a giant Ku Klux Klan meeting, but for the safety of the participants with so many gathering in an environment that is not controlled like the entry to a sporting event. Every obstacle must be placed before these nascent little Hitlers-delaying the permit process, saying their are not sufficient police resources to protect the participants, claiming that in an event with so many participants and no vetting that a terrorist attack becomes an inviting opportunity, even that such a large gathering can spread the flu/H1N1 virus. Better to deprive a fringe of haters of their speech now, than lose the country later. I implore all good Democrat supporters now to call for some common sense curbs on speech and assembly for everyones' safety-even the misguided participants.

Edit: After reading the title again I decided it was most likely too harsh. While there seems to be a growing number of voices who call anyone who differs in opinion to Obama a racist or what have you, I would sincerely hope they know if anything like this were to be done the country would be lost at once.

The person responsible for this is an absolute moron and should never be on any politicians staff.....period!

certain limitations on assembly and free speech? people that are angry protesting are considered "evil" however, ACORN is allowed to continue its highly illegal and ethical operations, and yet is allowed to still have government work?

the theme of this post did not come from the "staff" member....sadly, it came from the representative who did not have the guts to put hi/her name on it

I'm what you'd describe as 'liberal' and I do not agree with a single word of it.

My hunch is, it was written by a Republican with the hope that it'll be spread around the internet. There is absolutely no way that anyone would say 'we need to impose limits on free speech' and 'particularly our undocumented workers'.

The whole thing is almost childlike in its transparency.

No doubt but that its a plant.

We on the left are very fortunate in that we don't have to make up frothing at the mouth scary uber-right conservative monsters to attack. There's just already so many to choose from!

Of course its not liberal in nature. How dare we suspect them of wanting to take away our rights. It has too be those nasty conservatives. Those Bible thumpers who believe in God and the Constitution.

He's just another European peasant, jealous that Americans are not yet complete puppets of their government.

last time I checked, I'm pretty sure that our governments arent allowed to monitor our communications without reason?

I'm getting bored of Peasant. It's not really that offensive is it? It's like calling someone a 'jerk', doesnt really have enough oomph to it. Think of something else.

We have the Second Amendment. Europeans have?

I really don't care what tires you. One thing this forum and this country have in common. I was here when you got here, and I'll be here when you leave.

That is a noble commitment to an internet forum. I salute you sir.

so, all the other comments have not been..."genuine"?

no, everything i say is what I think...i just thought that the apparent paradox of a so called 'liberal' not supporting ACORN would lead others to accuse me of lying.

There are examples in your own posts LG, I just don't care to dredge them back up.

And you are actually proud of this??

:post-4-1090547912:
Yes, I am. I have no desire to reside outside of my country. I'm sure many here share my sentiments. Visits are fine, but I'll always come back home.

Now, why are you here? I thought your country was wonderful? Why would you want to leave?

I am from a great country. I also live in a great country at the moment. Traveling, living in other places, and experiencing other cultures opens your mind and makes you a better person in my view.

Where am I telling anyone that they should adopt my culture?

Why is it you think you are the personification of US culture? I live here and have met plenty of people that agree with my views, just because I disagree with you doesnt mean that I disagree or am trying to overrun the American way of life. You dont speak for everyone.
