I always have wondered what Tiger would have accomplished had he never changed his swing from 1997 or whenever he won the Masters by 12. And, if he had never worked out. Kind of like J.T. looks now.

Good question......don't think he would ever have been as dominant as he was. Butch did wonders for his career.

I don't think so. Pretty sure Butch was working with Tiger all the way back to his Junior days.

The Master's victory in 97 was before Butch (i'm 90% sure). But I'm not sure he would have been like he was 2000 -2003 without Butch.

According to this article Butch started working with Tiger when he was 17. I didn't know those two went that far back.

I'm a fan. IMO golf is a better product with Tiger playing well, he's iconic in that he sets the tone like few other players do.

Yep. First day, 7 birdies and an eagle. 10 birdies and an eagle overall. The eyes went bad sometime Thursday night.

If y'all have never done it, I highly recommend going to the Tour Championship. East Lake is a great place to watch golf. The field is crazy good. They shuttle you in, so no parking to deal with. Kids get in free.
