The time is now Stokes!

I predict Randle manhandles Stokes. Hope I'm wrong, but just haven't seen Stokes dominate many great players in 2 1/2 years here.

Double double in the 1st half would qualify as putting your money where your mouth is right? Lol

Dont count on it! He always chokes in big game! If we can get 7 points and 5 Rebs out him today it will be a success! That's what he averages against ranked teams! Which is terrible! You better not count on him for us to win today! I hope Richardson and the rest can play lights out! Go vols!
you were saying?

Great. Stokes smoked another doobie at halftime. Tennessee and loser are synonymous.

Nice try.

Not that their opinions matter but some UK fan posted a roast Stokes thread on their board about not winning in Rupp even though he said he would before he left UT. A lot of their fans gave him some praise for his effort and a lot said that they thought he could make it in the NBA as a Chuck Hayes/Glen Davis type player.

I thought Stokes ran the floor well today. Got a layup early on while sprinting the court. Couple of different breaks. Faced up well and showed some moves we haven't seen. Went for 20 and 15 at Rupp. How many players from other teams can say they did that?
That long pass from DT, snatch, two steps and finish off the glass was freaking fantastic.
Gotta give credit to Stokes today.

I think Stokes biggest issue is that he is afraid that the rim will bite him if he puts his hands on it. If he wants to be big time, he has to start finishing around the rim...Rip that Sucka Down!

That was a hell of a pass from DT too.

Was a great look and pass. Fortunately Stokes made the play. Otherwise, DT would've been yanked for trying to make the pass if it was a turnover.
That's how our players are coached. Ok if it works. Quick hook if it doesn't.
And it sucks. Multiple quick hooks today and it's no surprise we had trouble scoring.

Agreed. I had a coach who would pull players for one mistake. It sucked and doesn't build confidence or continuity on offense.
