man i havent been right at all today.....titans take..

David Stewart

BIO: Three-year starter who saw action with the first team as a freshman. Consistently graded out as Mississippi State's top offensive lineman.

POSITIVES: Hard-working blocker coming off a terrific senior campaign. Nasty lineman who works to bury opponents. Stout, anchors at the point and easily turns defenders off the line. Strong, yet at the same time intelligent, and works well with teammates. Effectively uses blocking angles to protect the quarterback, and at the same time, drives opponents off the line, opening holes for the running game. Bends his knees blocking with leverage, powerful in the upper body and displays excellent arm extension with the ability to control defenders once engaged at the point. Surprising skill pulling across the line of scrimmage and blocking in motion. Jolts defenders and explosive at the point.

NEGATIVES: Not light on his feet, lacks adjustment and exploited by nimble opponents. Cannot redirect to defenders on the second level. Marginal blocking range.

ANALYSIS: Looking like a different player as a senior, Stewart took his game to another level and is now a prime strong-side tackle prospect for the next level. Possesses the nasty demeanor coaches want, yet at the same time, plays with the intelligence and self control needed to be successful in the NFL. Moved himself into the draft's first day and could quickly find himself as a starter at the next level.

WR Roydell Williams- Tulane

BIO: Three year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior after leading the team in receiving with 52/862/12. Junior totals included a career high 66/1,006/9.

POSITIVES: Consistent pass catcher with reliable hands. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, comes back to the ball and goes up in a crowd to make the difficult catch. Stays low exiting routes, positions himself to make the reception and out muscles or physically defeats opponents. Extends and offers the quarterback a nice target. Tough running after the reception, breaks tackles and picks up positive yardage.

NEGATIVES: Possesses built up speed rather than a quick, explosive burst. Choppy footwork into breaks.

ANALYSIS: A productive collegiate receiver with good upside for the next level, Williams has fallen under the radar screen in scouting circles the past two seasons. Continually got the job done at Tulane and turned in an outstanding performance at the Senior Bowl when he was a late-week roster addition. Wont' be selected until the later rounds yet could be a very productive fourth wide out at the next level.

what are they doin!!! :censored: RB Damien Nash- Missouri

BIO: Led the team in rushing after starting eight games last season, posting 164/792/7 on the ground, while adding 25/176/1 as a pass catcher. Sophomore totals included 89/462/5 carrying the ball.

POSITIVES: Quick-footed ballcarrier with adequate size for the inside. Sees the field, waits for blocks to develop and possesses a burst through the hole. Explosive, displays speed running in the open field with the ability to take it outside of tackle. Works runs, falls forward when tackled, and has the ability to pick up yardage off initial contact. Solid pass catcher out of the backfield. Employs effective blocking technique.

NEGATIVES: Not a decisive runner nor an instinctive football player. Misses blocking assignments and does not pick up blitzes. Cannot quickly cut back against the grain and loses balance when he must immediately change direction. Left the team after disagreements with the coaching staff in late November. Characterized as irresponsible.

ANALYSIS: Displaying flashes of big-time ability, Nash possesses solid physical skills and a good upside for the next level. That being the case, he needs more repetition and must mature as an individual to have any shot of sticking on an NFL roster.

This guy was projected to be undrafted! He didnt even rush for 1,000 yards last year! what the hell titans! you have 2 QBs that you NEED!

OT Daniel Looper- Texas Tech

BIO: Full-time starter the past three seasons after playing five games with the first unit as a freshman. Awarded varying degrees of All-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign.

POSITIVES: Large lineman best in a small area. Patient in pass protection, keeps his feet moving throughout the action and effectively uses angles. Strong at the point and turns opponents off the ball. Displays an excellent feel for the position. Good hand jolt and knocks opponents from their angle of attack.

NEGATIVES: Not quick or explosive off the snap. Lacks blocking range and has difficulty sliding out to protect the edge.

ANALYSIS: A durable and competitive collegiate lineman, Loper is built for the strong side. Offers size potential yet must learn to block with leverage to have any chance of sticking at the next level.

I'm not understanding these picks at all.

I dont know why you guys think we need a QB so bad. I mean Volek is awesome, I actually he's a better QB than McNair. He just doesnt have the leadership skills etc.

theres no way Volek is better than McNair...I honestly believe this is McNairs last year. And the Titans really need someone for the future..And why not bring young, and talented in to learn from Steve..Im sure Volek will do just fine. But i odnt think he is very dependable. Maybe they wont get a QB this year..And will go after Matt Lienart next year..that'd be great, Norm and Matt.

He's got a point Milo. They're probably looking at a 4-5 win season. That'll at least put them in the running.

Just hope that Norm Chow doesn't pull of any miracles next season. You guys would really like to have Leinart, huh?

TE???? :bad:

TE Bo Scaife- Texas

BIO: Used in a rotational system last season and came away with 26/348/2 catching the ball. Posted career numbers in 2001 with 30 receptions for 396 yards. Sat out the 2000 and 2002 seasons with knee injuries.

POSITIVES: Athletic pass-catching tight end who plays faster than his listed time. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, runs well laterally and adjusts backwards to make the errant reception. Keeps his focus and pulls the tough reception out of a crowd, then quickly turns it up the field, picking up good yardage running after the catch. Natural receiver who displays excellent eye/hand coordination and a good degree of consistency. Solid position blocker who gets out front and displays the ability to remove linebackers from the action.

NEGATIVES: Does not block with much balance, strength and gets marginal results. Not explosive at the point. Has a history of knee injuries, which will send up red flags.

ANALYSIS: Torn knee ligaments hampered Scaife's development and limited his playing time the past three seasons. Has the potential to be effective as a .move. tight end in the NFL yet must remain healthy to have any chance of making it.

I think the Titans need to go after Jason White. He needs to get in there and learn the system while he still can from mcnair. We need a QB now. I also think this is mcnair's last season. Volek is a good QB, but he's not the kinda guy you can build a franchise around. Go after White and if you can't get him get Chang. Just draft a QB already :censored:
