son was up at 4am with a fever (had shots yesterday so I don't think he's sick). I let the wife sleep while I watched over him. Fever really freaks me out now

did anyone else's trick or treaters suck this year? We had plenty but they were rude - many didn't say ToT, some just jammed their hand into the bowl, others asked for more once we gave it to them, so many older "kids" and parents getting candy for kids not even old enough to have teeth. I may just lock it down next year

You know PJ interesting you bring this up because I was thinking eh maybe it's just me, but man we had some very rude older kids and PARENTS trick or treating also. It kind of shocked me how many parents was trick or treating and some of them just as rude as the kids.. They just knocked on the door and stuck the bucket or whatever out and didn't say a word, I was like really????? I think this will be my last year handing out goodies.

Ours hardly ever say trick or treat. Course they don't say much at all after the school bell starts going off when they hit the top step on the porch. :)

Morning everyone!

It's been super busy the last couple of days. We are really noticing how much we miss the co-worker that moved to NY.

my wife refuses to give candy without the kid saying ToT. Hopefully next year my son will be old enough to go around the whole neighborhood so I can just turn off the porch light and walk with him

Here's another pic from yesterday. That's our office "mascot". Whenever you reach down to pet him, he wants his belly rubbed.

In this particular instance, it worked PERFECT for the costumes! haha
