I watched the feed live here at work and I think I made everyone jump when he annouced. Glad to have the young man aboard and good luck to him.

Hey volly, is O+W=H still around? I don't come around much these days. Got to wondering about him.

Yes. He got sick, and waited to go to the doctor. By the time he did, there wasn't anything they could to stop the progress of an infection that had started.

His sister called me. They (both sisters) told me at the memorial service how much we meant to him, and that he talked about his friends on this site, the ones he met in person and the ones he just knew from posting.

So sorry! He was one of my faves! Don't think you were around then but a bunch of VN met at Calhoun's before the O&W game. I just sat at the bar acting like I knew nothing about the site he and Joey spent the entire time explaining the site to me and encouraged me to join..I finally couldn't keep from laughing so while he and I were outside I told him who I was! He cussed me for 30 minutes! Loved that guy!

He was special here. The responses from posters when they heard he was sick, and when he passed...

It's still hard to believe he's not here anymore.

That was a good day, enjoyed the beer and the company. We'll have to do it again if you're not afraid it'll ruin your political aspirations. This site lost a lot when OWH passed, that's a fact.
