My wife thinks it is sad. The 1st thing I do every mroning is turn on the coffee pot. She says she can feel the truck pulling towards a QT every time we pass one. They have the best/freshest coffee out on the road.

Doing the watch dog Dad program at my kids elementary school
They had to go in today to make up for snow days they've missed this year

Never heard of kids having to go on a Saturday to make up snow days before. I have heard of them having to stay an hour or so longer each day to make up for them. How many days have they missed?

I remember doing it when I was in grade school like back in the stone ages. And it was only a half day at that. Can't recall what year exactly, but we have used up all our snow days and were like four in the hole or something. Two Saturdays we went.

Hmmm.. that's intresting. In blizzard of '93 we missed 10 or so days of school and for us to make them up we went like an hour or so longer each day the rest of the year to make up for them. After that the school board built snow/weather days into the schedule so they wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

Probably depends on which school system you are in.
