Anybody have plans for Valentine's day or did the snow pretty much wipe that out?

We didn't have plans, I just wanted Kevin to cook us steak for dinner, but we are scraping that since we've been craving spaghetti with this winter weather, so we will fix that instead.

Georgia Sheriff ‘Cancels’ Valentine’s Day - ABC News

“The Oconee County County Sheriffs Office announces that Valentines Day has been CANCELLED from a line North of I-16 to the Georgia/Tennessee border. Men who live in the designated “NO VALENTINES DAY ZONE” are exempt from having to run out and buy lottery scratchers and Hershey bars from the corner stores until February 18, 2014, due to ice, snow, freezing rain,”

I emailed my wife this link last night.

Sorry dear...:whistling:

Never considered spaghetti to be a winter storm food. Chili, stew, etc, yes, but not spaghetti.

To each their own though.

Spaghetti and chili are not much different (especially if you are the kind to eat chili over noodles). Our spaghetti is very hearty, so a good warm food.

Have not heard of that, of course had not heart of putting it over pasta either, that's how Kevin eats his.

Never heard of chili-mac? What planet did you grow up on? Typically elbow pasta, but mixing chili with some Velveeta shells and cheese? OMG! OMG! OMG!

White rice prepared plainly (maybe a touch of salt) and mixed in with chili. Typically a cup or so per three cups of chili.

Never done rice with my chili. I usually just add cheese, jalpenos and fritos and that's it. I have had chili mac but it's not my favorite.

I've heard of chili mac, but I think of that as chili mixed with pasta and cheese. I had never heard of just having pasta at the bottom of the bowl with plain chili on top.

My wife makes me some chilli , adds a touch of sour cream and cheese. With a special little treat under all of it. Spaghetti noodles! Its probably her most simple meal, but one of my most favorite.

First I was like  then I was like :good!:

Lol, my mom thinks my dads side of the family is crazy by adding mustard to chili, its quite good too.

Velveeta isn't even real food, much less real cheese.

It is awesome mixed with a can of Rotel and a pound of hamburger meat. :)
