I searched on the internet and found a bunch of teddy bear style smokey dogs. They were nowhere near as badass and the incognito smokey.

Yeah I know. But nobody else has bought anything yet so I figured this one might do til something better comes along. It's almost game day and we still don't have him traveling anywhere.

Really hoping someone will VOLUNTEER to take surrogate Smokey. Otherwise I bought him for nothin' last night.

I went to three places on campus and found no suitable Smokey. Sad day indeed. I say go with the volley smokey.

Are you going to be at the WKU game, and if so, are you going to be at Calhoun's? I would take him and show him a gameday experience. Then give him a tour of Bristol.

I'm gonna be at the game, but I'm planning on going to the Vol walk so I don't know if we'll make it to Calhoun's. What time are you gonna be there?

What time is the kick-off? Maybe we could meet somewhere around Vol Walk or around the stadium. Wear the pom pom pants so I can find you. :clapping:

I think kick off is 12:21? Vol Walk should start around 10:45. I can meet you somewhere after the Vol Walk and before the game if that works for you?

It's gonna be too hot for the pompom pants. LOL But I'm wearing 'em to the OU game if we beat Florida. :dance2:

not to trump volly for her efforts, but i believe my 2 year old has one just like the original. i am sure she would love to give it up to a better cause as long as she does not find out. :)

if you all want to use it i can probably make it happen. i will not be at the game this week to hand him off so if someone from chattanooga is going maybe i can hand it off and they get it to broyles.

something i think would be cool in addition to posting on this thread is also maybe putting a hard copy picture of smokey's adventure with each member with a little description on the back of the pic and the member's name and date. that way i might not get in as much trouble for sneaking him out of my 2 year old's stuffed animal pile. if that is too much or too difficult in the digital era to do than maybe i can live without such momento's of her stuffed animal's life and times. but it would be cool to have.

the main thing is that i need responsibilty from people who want to take him for a journey to make sure they don't lose him and treat him like he is a gold brick. well just don't lose him or let the dog or cat destroy him. it certainly wouldn't be the end of the world if we never saw him again but it would be awesome to get him back one day.

A Smokey picture album would be really sweet to show your daughter when she's older.....now I want one:cray:

We were in Lowes Sat night and my daughter asked me if Smokey was ever gonna come back home to stay. She said she missed him. i busted out crying. It took me several minutes to regain my composure... :cray::cray: :cray: :)
