Just got the address of the a soldier in Afghan. I think it's best to send old Smokey to him and then from there he can come back to the States.

My bad, y'all. Been slacking with the pictures.


Smokey arrived last Thursday, and was tuckered out from his long journey. I had to find him somewhere suitable to sleep. We came up with this:

After a nice rest, it was time to go to work. Smokey was all for this. However, he wasn't used to the heat over here (it has yet to drop below 92 at night, which is when I work), so we had to get him something to keep him hydrated.

Once we got to work, a user needed some CAT5 cable run.

After we got that completed, went out to check on the generator, then Smokey wanted to check out the HMMWV.

After all that was done, some crazy person locked themselves out. Smokey to the rescue with the "master keys"!!!!

With all work completed, it was time for a little fun. I think Smokey approves.

And of course, can't have rifles around a hunting dog without them wanting to have pictures taken with it......
