We are outcoached more than 7 or 8 times a year.

So now we are on the argument that when we win, it is just the players but when we lose, it is all the coaches fault?

Right

With all the talent and money at UT it is hard for me to believe that we could not get a top notch OC. I just don't believe it. I love CPF and admire his loyalty but Sanders is just not doing what he should be doing. That is taking some of the HIGHEST ranked recruits in the nation and turning them into better players. That cannot be argued! he has had better Recruiting classes than probably any OC we have ever had and what has happened? He has not met the expectations of our fans and alumni. The SEC east is nice and winning bowls are nice for most teams. But not at UT. Not after a NC and two SECC and not with all the money, support and talent that he has at his disposal. We have been mired in a barely top 10 or outside the top ten since our NC run in 98. By the way that was with Cuts guys and game plan.

If being a "close but no cigar" team is what makes you happy then fine. But not me. I love and will continue to support my school. But as an alum and as a fan I can and will call it when I see it. It does not make me less of a fan.

are u serious? is that the best we can do?

We are just lucky to have Vandy, Ole Miss, Ky on the schedule.

We have put 24 points on the board. 17 of those against UAB. Do they approach our talent level? Have we not been outcoached in 2 out of 2 games this year?

Unfortunatly, I agree that we have been outcoached in both of our games so far this season. 17 points got us by UAB but 7 points will never be enough to beat florida. If someone would have told me at the beginning of the year that we hold florida to 16 points, I would have loved our chances. Our offense has got to be able to help the defense out.

I'm not one to take sides 'round here and buddy up with a particular poster no matter what he says. And, God knows, Sarge has a tendency to get things heated up on a regular basis. But, this time, I think he has a dang good point.

Anyone who watched the game Saturday and can defend the coaching is either blind or was drunk before the game began. We got COMPLETELY OUTCOACHED. Period. Argue with a wall if you don't agree. Tennessee fans calling him the "Urban Myth" should start reading the "Tall Tales" of a Fulmer dynasty nearing its end unless things change QUICKLY.

Oh, and if you don't think we can win and still get outcoached, I'll give you a few points to ponder from last year: Ole Miss, South Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame. . . .and this year: UAB. Do you really think that we were only better than the other teams by our margin of victory? Questions???

That has got to be the most realistic, down to earth response to a post that I can ever remember.
