Just got back from Louisville. I bet $18.00 Curlin, Nobiz like Showbiz, and Scat Daddy in a win place show boxed, and I retained it for an entire $5.80. I also lost $50.00 on Nobiz to win. I never thought horse racing would be fun until this weekend.

No, that was Biloxi. Tunica is much farther north, about 45 minutes from Memphis. It is actually a pretty decent set-up for casinos if you can't make it to AC or Vegas.

All I'll say is that my horse finished in the top 20.

Funny thing is that local bookmakers got destroyed yesterday. Hard Spun was trained by a guy from Hopkinsville, so local ties put him on a lot more cards than the odds would indicate. I, of course, went against local convention and wound up complaining instead of cashing.

I have been to Vegas a few times.I kind of get tired of street vendors there bugging you to do this,do that,just like in Manhattan.I just walk by myself but the party I am with normally gets sucked into to the vendors sales tactics and I'm stuck staring at space until they can break away.:banghead2:

I use to like to fly to Vegas,drive over to stay with my sis in Claremont,CA, then drive into Mexico, but Tunica offers all the gambling I desire and all the comps. As far as AC , never been there,not too sure I care about going.
