Sick of talking about what we don't have for this OK matchup. We may not have a top ranking, or home field or many other advantages but I know this, our D-Nasty.

While I will agree that they have played hard and with intensity and swagger the past two weeks, this will truly be a test as to how "nasty" they are.

Let's hope that they are able to play older mentally, and they limit mistakes, and wrap up, especially on open field tackles. Secondary will be tested a lot more in this game.

Very glad we're playing this game. It'll be an awesome benchmark for the freshmen. Won't have too many games more intense than playing #3 Oklahoma on the road for your very first road trip. If they can handle that, they can handle just about anything.

Dem Bulldawgs know what a win against UT D-Nasty can really cost.

And during yesterday’s 34-31 overtime win at Tennessee, three more offensive starters suffered knee injuries. RB Keith Marshall and WR Justin Scott-Wesley suffered season-ending ACL tears, according to head coach Mark Richt. WR Michael Bennett will reportedly have arthroscopic surgery to find out the extent of his injury.

UT D lays the wood. They play physical and aggressive. The aftermath that comes with it is what it is but it is a testament to them bringing the heat.

By that logic, Arky State must have a vicious D since they knocked out Helm and Von. You are connecting two things that really aren't that related.....and then gloating about it

Don't you think if they brought the heat they wouldn't went 5-7???

That's basically the point. They did play physical and while we won handily it wasn't without costs. We can be sanctimonious about player injuries but they are a natural result of the sport and they do impact outcomes. To games and to seasons. Ask UGA and UF.
While OK may win or even win handily it won't be without some very physical play by this D.

How many times in the ARK state game did you see player timeouts for banged up Ark state players. Or even Keaton, he left limping a number of plays. IIRC Sutton said he thought he was scared to run.

Again the point. They went 5-7 and left a trail of tears in their wake. If I was an OK fan I'd want none of a pissed off and dissed UT D with nothing to lose coming into Norman. Just my 2 cents.

Never once said that. I made one simple ascertation. This D despite whatever weaknesses it has had or does have brings the pain even in losses. You don't have to like that support it or even comment about it but it's been the truth. The opponent injuries while unfortunate are merely the easiest and most tangible ways to illustrate that ferocity.

The assumptions and mislead dreams I'm sorry to say to our fan base come crashing down Saturday night. I bleed orange. I love all things Tennessee. But the swagger and talk of some fans on here has this Tennessee team ahead of progress. Yes Utah State and Arky State were quality wins. But come on guys let's get real. This game is going to be won or lost in the trenches. And our OL and DL has showed me we can compete with OU yet. Now come Saturday night I'm going to be wearing my orange colored glasses. But let's not talk about being some NASTY anything until we actually beat someone. I will be shocked if we have 50 yards rushing.
