The UT Win Helped Bama

As I do every year at this time I visit your board for some good ole football talk. With your win this last weekend I think it helped our team. If you would have been coming in on a (SEC) 2-3 game losing streak we may have taken you forgranted but with this victory I think our team will be more focused to avoid an upset.
I hope CBJ will bring UT back to some good football. As I have stated in the past on here, the SEC needs a strong UT, it makes the conference better.
Safe travels if you are coming to the game. Pray for a safe game and lets have some fun!

Thx OP. But I think the UT win helped UT. They are full of confidence now & will not back down or be intimidated by anyone, home or on the road.

I hope you do overlook TN. There's alot of power hungry, undefeated teams circling out there right now, perhaps they will have your focus rather than UT. :)

I forgot we were playing bama. I was looking past to mizz I guess.

I as a fan, am ready, I am always ready for Tennessee vs Bama... I believe the Vols are over-matched, under-talented, and under-skilled.....BUT for the first TIME in a long TIME I believe we WILL BE READY

We certainly will not be out coached only out recruited for the past five years.

The UT win will help Bama's strength of schedule a bit.
Bama is ranked #1 based on their success of the past few years. If you only look at the current season to this point, then they really don't deserve it. That can change, but so far, it's been TAMU, Ole Miss, Va Tech, and a bunch of very lightweight opponents. UT will easily be the 4th-best team Bama has played so far.

Not a bammer, but vt only has one.loss and 2nd.best defense statistically in cfb. Bamas schedule is not hard as ours but they will play a decent schedule by end of year.

The SC win didnt help anybody but UT and Missouri, putting them in the drivers seat of the East for now. Bama had to know as soon as Doofus was gone, it was gonna get better for UT. D***, i hope Saban gets butchslapped this weekend, what an awesome feeling it will be.

Under normal circumstances I would agree that this is sort of a travesty, but given the way the last few seasons have gone, I've got no problem at all with Bama starting off at #1.

Thanks. I try to just come on here and get another side of this great game. I have fun with it. Not here to stir things up but talk some good football and the great history of this game.
