Worse if last week was any indication. I saw today where it was the largest 4th quarter comeback in Kentucky history.

I'm sure they be talking about that one for decades to come.

That's sad--I almost feel bad for KY and their fans.......almost.

If you've ever seen any of those arrogant SOB's at a basketball game, you want to run the score up in football every chance you get. [/quote]
Thing is, most of them are the same way at a football game. They are like Florida fans with nothing to cheer for.

In my opinion, KY is the worst football team in the SEC. Their fans have nothing to brag about. We'll beat KY worse than we'll beat Vandy.

Even with Rick Clausen at quarterback... this year's team is much better than the Vols' 2002 team that finished 8-5. That year, they beat Vanderbilt and Kentucky by the same score (24-0). They rang up 371 yards of offense against Vanderbilt. They were up 18-0 at the half. Against Kentucky, the yardage was down somewhat (330 yards of offense) but the Vols were up 21-0 at the half. The defense held both opponents to less than 200 yards of total offense.

FYI -- Vanderbilt finished that season 2-10.... However, Kentucky was 7-5.

Betting lines have nothing to do with slapping anybody in the face. It's just a function of where the money is being bet and making sure that the house always wins.

If you really feel that you need to right a "wrong", I'm sure Vegas won't mind increasing the spread if you and all your friends take the points and start laying money on Vandebilt. :D

Last time the line was this low was in 1994 when it was 11 1/2 at kickoff: we won 65-0!?!

Hey, I have a suggestion: Gather up all your bets for Vandy, put the cash in a box, douse it in gasoline, and light it on fire. Look -- it saves you a trip to the bookie and the fire will keep your hands warm for a few minutes!

That was two years ago. I'm talking about this year.

My comparison was that this year's Vols are much better then the 2002 version that finished 8-5. That year, 2002, the Vols beat both Vanderbilt and Kentucky by the same score, 24-0.

I made the comparison because I think the upcoming games will be similar. Vandy and Kentucky have the SEC's worst rushing defenses.... both giving up over 190+ yards rushing per game.

I think the Vols come out and just run smash mouth over both teams.

wouldn't they increase the spread if all the money was on Tennessee?

Oh, I thought you were contesting that KY is the worst football team in the SEC this season.

Ok, I just saw that the over under is 42-43 on this game. Let's say the over under is 42 and the line is 12. That would mean a projected score of 27-15. They think our defense is going to give up 15 points to Vandy?

It's our offense that needs work at this point in the season...

That's what I think.

The more I look at it I am tempted to put some money on the Vols....errr...I mean bet on the Vols for entertainment purposes only.

It looks like our defense is going to give away 15+ points to Vandy. Our defense is looking like s**t right now.
