That girl sounded soooo good. I honestly heard an odd mix between alternative and country coming from her. She had a haunting voice and gave me goosebumps.

There is a ridiculous amount of talent on this show, and that includes the coaches.

It's kind of unfair to American Idol. My sister loves AI and I made her watch one episode of the voice this season for the auditions. She said they were nearly all as good or better than anyone on the past few seasons of AI.

Then I told her they hadn't even gotten to the actual live performances or top 10 or anything yet. She said no way.

This show is making people interested in singing competitions again (consider AI got beat by a re run of the Big Bang Theory recently).

There is some exceptional talent not making it past this round. Silly good talent. I'm guessing usher steals his own team member tomorrow.

I agree. some really good singers aren't making it. I don't even want to guess who is gonna win it this year honestly, last year at least had real front runners. This year doesn't because I think of 5 or 6 that are just good, and Midas Whale is absolutely insane for a duo. I'm pissed nobody stole my man from Memphis in that one.

I like this show more than American idol. The chemistry among the coaches is great. And I like the aspect of battles.

Adam messed up putting them together. I was sure usher was going to use his steal, sucks too cause that guy is talented as hell. Agree I see at least 6 people that could win, Adams team is pretty stacked IMO

Definitely bummed to see "Memphis" go home. It was obvious when the coaches picked their favorites before the battles even started. Like when Shakira gave those two the Janis Joplin song. That was clearly in favor of the raspy woman.

Agreed. Then again, I thought Adam's team was pretty loaded last year too and it ended up not mattering. But this year I can't imagine the girl who sang Christina in the first round not making it to the top 5 or so unless she basically falls on her face in the live shows.

I was surprised Adam stuck with the girl with the unique voice over the blonde girl(side shaved head) who was a powerhouse. Something about the girl with the unique voice that I really like though. At some point I'll learn the names.

I don't think that version she did was very good at all personally. She can sing, but she didn't need to change that song like she did.

What pissed me off the most is Blake getting rid of Luke when it was pretty obvious he had won. Blake is all about the conservative team look, nothing more.

Agreed.. I also thought the house band over powered her voice half way through the song.

I think if she had taken the banjo twang out it would've sounded way better. But it just felt like a poor man's taylor swift song. and taylor swift isn't that high on my list to begin with.

I disagree....I thought Luke got drowned out bad by the band and he did not bring it like he did earlier....like Blake said, IT'S THE KNOCKOUT ROUND

Yes, if we were going off that one round then Luke was the better of the two.

I'd have booted her just for singing a Justin Beiber song and then booted her again for trying to slow it down.

I'm still waiting on a guy to sing the Boyce Avenue cover of teenage dream. a guy like vedo could kill that. It flips the whole thing around to be the guy singing to the girl.

Can't say I was impressed by last nights performances during the live shows. Nothing really stuck out to me. The judges imo were giving the contestants false feedback.

The little girl who sang first flat out killed it. In the foursome song as well.

Vedo wasn't on his game, especially the 2nd half of the Phil Collins song.

Still loving the coaching Usher is doing.

We turned it on after Amber's performance so can't comment. We thought Michelle's song toward the end was the best of the night.
