It's hilarious we have Tennessee, then Florida, then Auburn, when it should probably be the opposite way. :)

Just 4 votes seperate that from happening.

If we had as many voters as the AP or coaches, I would say small things like this would straighten themselves out.

I was shocked about Miami, Virginia Tech.

And slightly questioned the votes for UCLA, Tulsa, Kent St., Penn St., BYU and South Carolina.

Seems like some people vote for Tennessee oppoents, just to get them on the poll. The Alabama votes from last week disapeared and S. Carolina picked up some.

I gave Penn State some #25 love. I got that far and couldn't think of anyone else, so I went with JoePa.

I'll be more than happy to answer any questions. I ranked the teams according not only to wins, strength of schedule, etc, but also just who I thought could win games against those below them. I didn't throw SC in there at 25 because we're playing them. I just think they are getting better and could beat Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Tulsa, and all of the other teams on the bubble. I checked and they are also on the bubble in the major polls.

:lolabove:And you questioned my computer poll??? UT, Florida, and Auburn ahead of USC? That is laughable! Well, at least no one can accuse you of being a homer...:zeitung_lesen:

I don't see why those of you who put UT ahead of Florida just didn't go ahead and vote the Vols number one. I mean, why bother ?

USC has failed to impress me all year. Sure the Arkansas game stands out, but Mustain wasn't their QB and McFadden was injured. The Razorbacks had multiple turnovers in the 2nd half. Until that point, USC only led Ark 13-7. This win for them is not as impressive as our Cal win in my opinion. We owned Cal and their heisman hopeful. It was a decisive victory over a team that is often ranked in the top 10. Nebraska is good, but definitely not better than Cal or Florida. Their defense isn't as good as the one we shredded in Georgia. Other than those two games, USC has been terrible, winning by 7 points or less against three straight unranked teams. I feel that they are on a downward slope and will lose to the Cal team we humiliated. I didn't vote with my heart instead of my head. I simply think USC would lose in a heads up game to all of those ahead of them. I'm not going to give USC a boost to the head of the line just because they are undefeated, just like I'm not going to give a free pass to WV, Lou, Rutgers, and Boise State. If USC beats Cal and Notre Dame, or even starts winning more impressively, (or if the teams ahead them have similiar struggles) then you will see their progress paralled by a jump in the polls. :eek:k:

I'm glad that you have a sense of humor about this. I got a good laugh out of you having Boise State ranked ahead of UT in your poll. Now THAT was funny. I can logically explain my decision. Whats your excuse?

I don't see why Auburn gets such a high ranking. They played an incredibly easy out of conference schedule. They beat LSU and Florida, which is impressive. However, they got dominated by Arkansas. I thought Florida and UT's wins were closer.

The Vols being ahead of the Gators is not near as outlandish as those having Cal ahead of the Vols.

i have the vote for kent st., and i believe maryland should have been amongst those also receiving votes, as I am pretty sure I placed them in my top 25. I vote for Kent St. because being on top of the MAC generally means at least a top 25 vote, I am just the one to give it to them, if they lose again, I will take it away. I have UT, Florida and Auburn ahead of USC because they have all played better football against better teams (believe me, if USC played Arkansas now, they would get beat).

C. Michigan, IMO, is better than Kent State.
