So strength of schedule is a biggie, as is margin of victory (to some degree), home/away, and opponents' schedules. I have it set up in Excel--all I do is enter the scores and a macro iteratively calculates the results. There are no preseason rankings in my system--everyone starts the season the same.

I can supply the Top 25 from my program, although it takes a few weeks for the teams to interconnect so there are a couple of head-scratchers these first couple of weeks.

I dunno if I was the "Tidey" person you speak of or not, but I sent in a poll anyway. :)

Thought mine was pretty lame. I basically just copied the two main polls and moved some teams around according to how I thought they should be.

I need time to think. I mean, I could come up with my 25 best teams right now. However, should I go by win-loss records and rank Georgia high since they are undefeated? Even though I know LSU would wipe the field with the dawgs, I have a tough time putting a one loss team above an undefeated one.
