Did he actually say he wasnt interested? All I heard was that he denied he had a contract offer and denied it having anything to do with Cleveland ownership.

I may have missed his all of his comments. Carry on if I did.

^^^This. I'm glad he denied the rumor about being offered a stake in Cleveland. I feel that would have linked him more towards being the Browns head coach. It does, however, leave the door open for a legitimate offer. :crossfingers:

There was an actual meeting planned last night in Florida with Hart and Gruden. Hubbs talked about it earlier in the week. Hart was scheduled to be out of the office today due to that meeting. Gruden cancelled that meeting last night and then said what he said today on Mike and Mike. Looks to offically be over with him.

This is not my info by the way. That was Hubbs' update tonight.

Ok. I must have missed where Hubbs posted that a meeting was scheduled before it was canceled. It sounded like that info came out at the same time.

Has anyone tried to reach out to UT after the announcement that Gruden declined the meeting? I would think that would be common protocal for a reporter.. if not then all this "info" could be coming from Hart himself as a smokescreen due to the leaked info yesterday.. they seem pretty adament about keeping on a few people in the loop.. again just my opinion

My source got home and told me that the 2nd deal is for more accessibility for his assistants and how he can recruit.

And get this / I'm hearing Raheem Morris, 2 more NFL assistants, 1 coach rumored to be from Pac 12 and Cris Carter(former Viking now at ESPN) have been in contact with Gruden to be assistants.


Can confirm UT has landed and will be meeting with Gruden shortly.

I'm telling you all that this is going to be a gigantic night for UT.
