Please don't. Just keep it a secret, as a matter of fact, it can be YOUR secret. Bowl season??? Last I checked, the NFL doesn't have a bowl season and unfortunately neither does TN.

What in the heck are you talking about?

He wouldn't be able to call bowl games. I believe he called the Outback Bowl the last 2 years. Might be wrong about the actual bowl , but he has called them. And no , I have no idea if what the op is saying is true. Just trying to answer your question.

Is this the same guy that was in Canada at the hockey game sending VN messages in code. If so, move along, nothing to see here.

Think you're right. I remember Tirico doing one for sure.

This has to be one of the more interesting storylines that has developed over the past few days...and no I don't mean Gruden. Will this saga turn out to be a Ms. Terry scenario or will VolReporter turn out to be some guy locked in his basement spinning some wheel to find out his next story

My family source confirmed to me about 15 minutes ago (so you know how i'm treating you vol nation to get this out) that someone close to the UT informed them about 2 hours ago that Gruden and ESPN finalized an agreement....

This is huge. Why? Because there is no way Gruden would leave ESPN to go to the NFL as it's not the same as him leaving ESPN College Football to coach in the NCAA.....

Remember NCAA rules would forbid Gruden to take any part in the bowl season.

So my feeling and the many who i'm talking to within the past few minutes is that we are extremely close in acquiring a future star as head coach for the Tennessee Volunteers football team.

I will update you all night long if I hear anything. If you ever watched the NCAA 30 for 30 Kansas Jayhawks. This is exactly the way the support staff, boosters, admin, and personnel actually work together.

And it's happening right now!!!

BELIEVE THIS VOL FANS!

You troll hard. :hi:

Well done.

Be careful.. I am so glad that we have ended our coaching search. My nerves couldn't handle too much more! I was living and dying by every rumor being shot down.

Wouldn't ESPN report this? I clearly remember them reporting when an anchor leaves them to go back into the coaching ranks. Last one that pops into my mind was the NC State bball coach. I think if this was the case ESPN would definitely be reporting it.

Don't believe VolReporter. It's a troll and he has started similar threads. Suggest ignoring this one too.
