The Walking Dead

The A was the kid's stamp. If you all remember he put one on Rick's hand shortly after they got to Alexandria last season.

The Use Of The Letter 'A' On The Walking Dead

I also don't think Enid is part of The Wolves. On The Talking Dead the actress playing Enid said that she had the keys as part of her character, she explained it as she likes to always have access to every possible escape plan. As for her line about "that's how we", I'm pretty sure she was going to say "that's how we(Enid, Carl, and whoever else) got in and out of Alexandria without being seen".

I remember her saying that on talking dead, but I don't always put faith in what the actors say on talking dead if their character is still alive. The guy who played the gov straight up lied about the gov's intentions and thoughts about his relationship with Rick on talking dead the week before he appeared with a tank and chopped off herschels head.

I'm not sold that she's a wolf but I think there's something significant about her that we don't know yet.

The guy that picked up the pistol will end up killing someone important...or maybe he is the one that shoots Carl's eye out?

dude - ease up on the :censored: spoilers!!! Not all of us have, or care, to read the comic

I think she's just a quiet loner type. She might prove me wrong later on but for now I'm just not buying her being involved with the wolves.

Her character reminds me of Michonne when they first came across her. She's just seen so much death and been hurt, that she struggles to let people in. I actually think she was leaving because she could feel herself getting close to Carl, and it scared her.

Still not adding up. If she liked the towns people why not warn them. Her moto was Just Survive Somehow. Lying to a bunch of wild killers seems to go against that.

Also, the wolves seem to be all about bum rushing and causing panic and chaos. The community Noah was from looked like a similar attack. Drive a truck through the gates/walls and let the hysteria take over.

Haven't got a bearing on the Wolves...they seem to have a kinship with each other. The interaction with "Aphid" as played by Carol shows that. Seem well organized. As I said previously, there's a gap in Enid's timeline. After watching her parents getting dined on by Walkers and through devouring a raw tortoise...just like a Walker. If she met up with these Wolves after that, I could see her new survival mode just pick the strongest group to align with. I think her disappearances from the town were to drop info as a spy. I do think she developed a fondness for the town and fed the Wolves strategically useless material. When they got Aaron's pack they acted on that. There's just no way IMO that her weird actions are random teenage squirrelnous.

I take what they say with a grain of salt since they are contractually not allowed to give anything away. I was just putting it out there.

I have to somewhat agree with this. Although the show doesn't follow the comic book directly I'd rather not read about "possible" spoilers. They've already done a character with an eye patch so it'd be pretty repetitive. I really don't think the actor or production crew would want to deal with another disability especially if there is a chance they will be on the cast longer than a season. They killed Herschel and they killed the Gov.

I think it was a combination of that and she convinced herself that they can't protect the town so she thinks she's better off on her own. She was in Alexandria for a long time but her attitude clearly showed she didn't buy into it, or invest anything in it.

Are we supposed to read into her comment about how if the audience sees her again we'll be "pleasantly surprised"?

Not sure what to make of that. Could be she joins Rick's group. Maybe it means she and Carl hook up. Or she's got some ulterior plan that's still unknown.

The ones that appear on the show that I'll actually take their word are either Kirkman or Scott Gimple. They're vague but just enough to make you wonder. or dead cast members too. They usually don't speculate much on what's going to happen that I remember, just expand on their character.

My thought process to that comment was what exactly is her interpretation to the word "pleasant". Is it literal or just the opposite? Lol

Agreed on Kirkman and Gimple I also think Denise has thrown out some solid hints as well.

I think Enid had held back on useful information...she genuinely liked the townspeople...they knew the soft spots but didn't know if there was any security to reinforce.

I got a similar take, but different background.
I think she was in a similar community to Alexandria.

In her backstory opening scene, they seem very clean and well dressed. Just like the people of Alexandria, her parents didn't handle the Walkers like an experienced team of survivors.

I think that they were in a community that collapsed because it was too big and not well defended against people. They left or survived, but were ill prepared for the Walker reality. Standing in the open car door, Enid looked like she had just left the mall when they are attacked.

No spoilers, just my opinion on more of her backstory...

That makes a lot of sense...yuppie parents troubleshooting the fuse box whilst zombies approach. Possibly similar or same community to Noah's that was attacked/destroyed. Maybe watching a carbon copy get destroyed made her less invested and just cast her lot with the winners? I love shows where the fans are clueless until it happens. :)

If you're hinting she was in a community that was attacked by the wolves before then that's an interesting theory. That would explain her bugging out after the Alexandria attack.

Maybe she's the one leaving those 'wolves not far' messages.

Really seems plausible given how her family failed to respond decisively to the oncoming Walkers...Any 2 of Rick's crew would have dispatched 4 Walkers quickly while the 3rd finished fixing the SUV. Enid's parents were overwhelmed quickly and eaten. No obvious experience...Enid learned the hard way

I wonder what the guy Morgan caught was trying to get across before Carol shot him. He said something along the lines of 'The trap. You gotta know, people don't belong here anymore'

On the Talking Dead they said they felt like he was saying "you people shouldn't be here, you dont belong here" as though "you sane, nice people arent supposed to be around."

Probably something about the dead owning the planet now.

This is what I was thinking too, just was wondering what others thoughts were as well.

How does Morgan know the Wolves? Right before 5 of them jump him, one of them said "YOU live here???"

Last season Morgan beat the crap out of him and the one he killed in the house.
