If we’re honest with ourselves we never thought we’d be in this spot one year ago. If we‘re honest we know we’re not supposed to win tomorrow. If we’re honest we know Bama has more talent than us at most every position. All this said do I think we can win? Hell yes. We have a great chance to win. In my opinion if we don’t allow Gibbs to gash us and we do not allow Will Anderson to hit Hendon Hooker I truly believe tomorrow could be one for the ages. Most importantly, no matter what happens I hope all of us are proud of these kids and what they’ve done thus far. I hope we’re all proud of Coach and the miracle job he’s done already. I have a feeling that this year things are just “meant“ to happen and we very well might shock the world come 7:30 tomorrow night. Go Vols.

Kick off is 3:30, not 7:30. Don’t miss it!

I did not think we would be undefeated at this point, but when the season kicked off, it suddenly seemed "special!"

Coach Heupel can flip-the-script on saban meaning making bama play catch-up and putting the pressure on saban to coach and the players to most importantly.....execute. It is always easier to play leading than behind and bama does not play behind very often but when bama is behind in the fourth quarter.....bama is as subject to lose as any other team. And lose today they will!!!!

Since 2008 our losses to Bama in Neyland make us look like Vandy. Our average margin of defeat is 29 points during that time frame.

Are putting money on the game???
My Dad told me when I was young to never bet on the Vols to win or lose. I ignored that rule in 98 Arkanasas when they got the ball when we did not get a first down on 4th down. He bet me 300 dollars we would get the ball back and win the game. Best 300 bucks that I ever lost.

Oh, they're going to hit Hendon. The more important question is, how does he respond?
Gibbs is gonna gash us. How well do we gash back?
It's going to look bleak at times. Can we find ways to flip the narrative back to the light?

As you know, Doc, the Third Saturday in October is almost never easy. This is one of those matches where folks talk about mud and blood and big, nasty linemen blowing snot bubbles while staring each other down. Fight in a phone booth. Twelve long rounds. Never quit. Put on more steam. The Neyland Maxims were written for days like today.

These lads absolutely can win this game. They're coming in expecting to. Because their coach, a man named Heupel, brought them up that way.

Hope you're having a blast in Vegas. It's game day.

Go Vols!
