We were always going to be a 9-3 type team this year but the play calling has to improve and so does the pass game. The decision to put two injured receivers in the last series was dumb because Arkansas knew they weren’t getting the ball which limits the field

It's really a shame that the ratings come out when the vast majority of P5 teams play cupcakes in the first 3-4 weeks. This is the week they should com out for the first time. But hey, Vegas drives the world.

Unfortunately I think it’s more than that. What you said is definitely true, but given these past 2 games I think we have some bigger personnel/coaching issues.

I was in the same boat as you until they got the ball down to the 15 yard line. At that point even some fans could make the kick. It was the right call, unfortunately trying to turn it on and decide that you want to spread the field with 1:17 left is too little too late.

Something is wrong. We were told the offensive playbook would be open yet have continued to play vanilla since opening day. The OL can’t block and Nico holds onto the ball too long. These Vols looked like teams of TN past tonight.
