The wildfires out west are pretty bad.

Amazing to watch some of the sh*t they trot out on Fox

You do realize wildland firefighters go through this practically daily at fast greater levels than they see seeing in New England?

It's yet another knee jerk reaction by the left to put face diapers on people for reasons they don't fully understand.

Went right over your head, didn't it. Of course wild fires happen. But to think there's no danger in inhaling wildfire smoke is quite dangerous when your audience is a lot of old folks.

Seems they’re saying “these levels you are experiencing in your neighborhood are safe”, not “walk as close to the fire as you can stand and inhale as much as you can”

I happily worked the smoking section on sunday morning though. Them christians don't tip worth a darn.
Truth. Nobody wanted to work Sunday lunch. Terrible tips and by far the most difficult customers. We always joked about how they could be so mean right after attending service. Never understood it.

It was the whole dynamic, too. Parents with kids (who ate free back then). Everyone orders water. Kids make a mess, mom and dad run you ragged, for 10% if you're lucky.

The sinners were a better clientele on Sunday am for sure.

Some of the best tippers were the motorcycle crowd. I loved those tables. Usually a lot of fun, too.

People in the hospitality industry. The best in tips, patience, preparedness for requests and to order.

Smoke is plaguing Norfolk for the last 2 days. Sad knowing it is much worse up north and many people are suffering because of these fires.

My pastor tells everyone every Sunday, "if you're going out to eat and aren't going to tip good or be nice, don't you dare tell people you go to church here. I don't want them thinking we're like that".
