Favre said he would probably play 1 or 2 more years.

of course he is returning. his ego is WAY too big to retire.

other large ego QB's have retired before. I think he understands that it is coming sooner or later, so I'm not sure how his ego plays into it. I think he's debating whether he wants to deal with the pain of another season vs. kicking back and doing nothing.

Forget all of the above, you're just mad that Rodgers will still be a clipboard guy.

I think he wanted Randy and the Packers didn't deliver and he is upset that they didn't do so, what if(what if) he wanted to go to NE to play with Moss, do you think that the Pats would take him and bench Brady(just a hypothetical) . Look at Joe Montana, he went to the Chiefs before he retired.... so there is an outside possibility.
