The Will Brooks appreciation post

For the defense. Sampson for the offense
Brooks played mistake free. Sampson carried us no doubt, but that fumble sticks in my craw. If Nico is taking heat for his INT, then Sampson isn’t immune and they both came up big in the 2nd half.

Can we all get behind a walk-on player who is playing his @ss off for a spot on this team. He literally stuck the dagger in Bama in a way so many Vols of the past 20 years did not do. This is special and should be recognized as exceptional. I'm so proud of this guy! He's displaying the full spirit of a VFL.

I've never loved a Vols player as much because of his circumstances.

Please if you see him in Knoxville but him a drink and a steak!

I heard Dari Nowkwa on ESPN refer to him as a former walk on. Is he still a real on or has he been awarded a scholarship? Does anyone know for sure?

If your idea becomes a trend, you just have added immensely to the UT's recruiting arsenal. I imagine recruits saying, "Dayum, this is how fans treat players? I'm going to Tennessee and bringing my whole team with me."

Did anyone catch the clip on social media of Jakobe Thomas’s comment into the camera after the game? After Will Brooks makes the game ending interception and we run out the clock, Thomas is on the field celebrating, looks right into the camera and says, “hey, we got the hardest white boy on the block!!” Hilarious. This is great.
