I hope we land Arnett. I am very familiar with Demario Williams. And I do not see how he will be able to get separation in the SEC. He lacks the speed and quickness required. Hope he proves me wrong.

I haven't heard that. I think we are recruiting him to be a WR.

Dallas himself has indicated we recruited him primarily for defense. I was surprised at that also.

I find it hard to believe that we have turned our backs on Derek King but want to take Ronnie Harris. I'm not buying this one.

at this point in time feels like Clear and Richardson most likely. Arnett has a good feel but long way to go with him.

Couch, I fear the math class always on Juco's. Wright seems like Auburn. Pagan, will Mom force change or let him go with his heart? Others, too early to tell.

Don't forget that we might have over-recruited some of our commits already.. we will lose some of them between now and signing day. We have a legit shot with Arnett, Clear, Richardson, Couch, Wright.. the other guys aren't 100% long shots by any means.

Assuming Loften's in and we sign 27, this is what I want to see under the tree. Not worrying about greyshirt discussions, and keeping current visitors and rumblings in mind:

That would have us finishing at 12 4* if my math is right.

Here's my wish list:


1 - DB: I think we only take one DB (This would be between Moore, Lanier, or Lofton. I think the defensive backfield we have now has gotten better and better as the year went along. (Brewer, Waggoner @Corner). I expect with everyone coming back, we should be solid. With who we already have locked up from high school, we should be fine for the next couple years?

1 - OL: Jackson from Miami.

2 - LBs: Dawson, Paul, or secret LB from Mich.

1 - DT: Wright or another really good DT.

And the 2 locks (Clear and Richardson).

Because it adds a level of mystery and intrigue to the process. To be honest, it is extremely likely that a guy none of us has even discussed signs with the Vols by NSD. Happens every year...
