The Woke Olympics

If you ever held a real job at a real for profit company you would know what stress is. Grow a pair and suck it up and do what you're paid to do, that's the message.
What? My job is much easier than what she was attempting to do. It also took more training and dedication to achieve her level of skill

I really don’t see what the BFD is with Simone Biles choosing to drop out of the Olympics. Why are people going bonkers? She has represented the USA very well in the past. Time for someone else to step up to the plate.

Humans are not disposable assets. We are much better off the more we embrace that.

She's under more stress than a lot of people with "jobs at real for profit companies"

No, because the mental health issues are generally hidden behind alcohol or drugs use, sexual addiction/infidelity, financial trouble, and other masking events.

Simone had the fortitude to be honest and skip the self-medication.

And let's be honest here: the Venn Diagram of posters who are clowning Simone Biles and mental health intersects the Venn Diagram of posters who have no problem insulting and outgrouping others in this forum in almost a perfect circle. Hard to listen to people talk about mental health who have no issues harassing others.

The above post has multiple issues. Please improve.

Once again, if you ever worked for a real "for profit" company you would find out that yes, people are disposable assets. The place functions before you came and it will function after you leave.

You certainly have no issues saying what she should and shouldn't do and value and what choices she should make.

It's a message board. A place where people discuss topics. You've kind of hit a desperate spot with that take.

I have worked as a disposable asset for for profit companies. I know how quickly people come and go and how little loyalty companies can have to their human resources. We're all replaceable when it comes to making money for someone else.

But that's the thing, God didn't make us to spend our short time in this earth destroying ourselves in the process of enriching others. We are valuable far above and beyond the money we make or the entertainment we provide for others.

Money comes and goes. We get one life. It should not be spent living up to other people's expectations at the cost of our minds, bodies, and spirits.

You realize you're proving my Venn Diagram comment, yes?
How was my response harassing to you?

You're the one who suggested she potentially faced a life of poverty and degeneracy if she didn't have the "fortitide" to quit on her team. That's pretty insulting tbh.

You're really solidifying the efficacy of my Venn Diagram comment.

Never read the comment and dont know what it is.

You went of on some tangent asking me to answer a question about a point I never attempted to make.

Thank you for your perspective. I believe you misread my comment. I will review and revise as needed for clarity.
