Sounds like the dodgers hold that distinction

The Rangers, who lost 9-0 in Game 2 at San Francisco, are the first team to be shut out twice in a World Series since the 1966 Los Angeles Dodgers failed to score in the last three games while being swept by Baltimore.

I am actually working late listening to this on the radio and I can look out my office window and see the stadium in the distance. I'm guessing there won't be any fireworks.
