I'm sure there are occasions where we could sub a 6-8 265 TE with a 4.5 40 in for one of the WRs.

Na, I like a 2 TE, 1 reciever, 2 back set. Running mainly belly left and right and toss sweep left and right to the short side.

I think Crompton would love and thrive in this offense. Let Berry focus on "D" and be an offensive specialist. Crompton has pretty decent wheels himself, and a rocket arm.

I'm not saying Crompton can't run it. But Crompton doesn't have that speed. This would be the mustang offense version 2.0. Gerald Jones at QB with Berry at WR wouldn't be horrible either.

That speed would make Crompton running look like Maurice Clarett.

well, I know he isn't near as fast as some of those guys, but we know he can deliver the ball and these are some serious bullets for that gun. I look at Crompton as a bigger, stronger Heath Shuler. Although Shuler didn't fair well in the pros, the kid did a heck of a job at Tennessee.

Heath on had 2 problems and it cost him a pro career.
1. Norv Turner
2. Heath couldn't read defenses

I agree. As Penn State showed us about a month and half ago, our need right now is secondary. That is where Eric Berry needs to be and concentrate. Crompton will be a fine QB in this system.

The good thing about this class is we really did do a great job on both sides of the ball. Dominated at RB and WR, but we got a few good DLineman and secondary guys. Chris Donals is going to be a great LB. Overall, best Fulmer class ever.

Berry will play some offense. The coaches have told him once he gets comfortable at CB he will get a chance at offense.

I believe Tony Hunt ran for 152 yards. That's what PSU showed us.
