The WRASSLIN’ Thread

I’m looking forward more to the woman’s Rumble than the men’s actually. Because of all the surprise entrants. And I have zero faith in WWE to actually give the RR win to someone fresh and interesting. Knowing them, Reigns or Cena will win it again. Maybe even Orton again! Or HHH.

But yeah. Dolph is still in WWE. It’s storyline. A lot think he will make a return and win the RR. But I seriously doubt it.

Also, I think Zayn preforms his obnoxious heel character well on the mic. I don’t think he has any problems in that category.

If Zayn’s heel character is supposed to seem lost, confused and faking being a bad guy, he’s doing marvelous. He doesn’t feel or look comfortable being a bad guy.

The Rumble is a fun, cool gimmick. That said, two of them will put me to sleep. 30 women, with around 12-14 being cameos is just not a good idea when paired next to the men doing the same thing. We know Lesnar isn’t losing, I don’t care about Rollins with Jordan. Owens is still great on the mic, but Zayn is atrocious and awkward (in line with NXT gimmicks not working on the major brands). So couple Zayn with my hatred of the overuse of cowardly heels and I don’t care about that story. I do think those three have the potential for a heck of a match, but Vince only gives Owens spot feats in the marquee settings, so I’m out there as well.

If the US title is Rood vs Dillinger, I’ll watch that and probably lose it. The USOs vs Benjamin/Gable has potential. The USO’s always deliver, but the SmackDown brand needs something fresh and new in bad, bad way.

We say this every year and they somehow deliver at Mania anyway, but both brands seem to be significantly down right now.

I think what Sami is doing right now is great.

That stinks..........I was hoping to see Paige and Xavier Woods in the open challenge!

The Paige news blows. She was one of my favorite superstars. A lot of people credit Bayley and Sasha for the start of womens wrestling being taken seriously by WWE, but it all honestly started with Paige and Emma at the first NXT Takeover. I hope if she wants to stay in the wrestling biz, WWE gives her some kind of role.

I want to know who the security guard/stuntman/wrestler was that Braun threw 5 feet over the fence and through the table. That's a heck of a bump
