I don't how you guys felt, but i personally wasn't a fan of enzo but i think another cruiserweight tournament would be entertaining. maybe even a wwe network exclusive like the last cruiserweight tournament or the mae young classic. I enjoy 205live and think the cruiserwright division provided a ton of quality matches in 2017 but def needs a revamp or change to its branding. I agree with the article that adding "205" to the division makes them look small and inequivalent to the rest of the wwe locker room. bring back neville and add rey mysterio, tyler bates, and the bruiserweight. that'll give the division a quick jump start.

only problem i had was with her timing. i know that was the wwe trying to start some drama between her as asuka (if rousey goes to raw instead of sdl), but i think a monday night raw introduction would've been a better way to bring her out. especially if she didn't make her debut during the rumble. just kind of crazy that they though spoiling the end of the first ever woman's rumble was a good way for her to make her presence known.

I guess I'm just old, but wwe is becoming a disappointment to me, more one week at a time. I think the roster split waters it down. I still keep up with it, then wonder why I do.

AJ and Finn are great talents, along with Roode and Dolph.

I wanna like wrestling like I did as a kid in the 80's and the Monday Night wars ... but it just ain't the same.

Hope you guys don't run me outta town like I lost a loser leave town match.

I wonder what Vince's reaction would have been if the final two the Rumble were Nakamura and Balor and the crowd started chanting New Japan.

he'd probably smile knowing that he lured them away...they were chanting ecw when rhyno came out. yes, i know it was philly.

But Vince bought ECW, he doesn't care about that. I don't think he would care about a New Japan chant either though because like you said, he pulled them away from there.

yeah, i just thought it was cool of the crowd to recognize rhyno's past as an actual champion and not what he is now lol. not comparing it to njpw. i think the crowd was chanting new japan during the survivor series when nakamura and ballor were in the ring?

This is the reason for the split. We as (s)marks get a dream match we’ve been dying for. Vince will still attract the minimal fan with the “huge” matchup of Reigns/Lesnar. And the rest of the world tunes in to see Rousey. I hate on the product as much as anyone, but the road to Wrestlemania always delivers. It’s mind boggling.

Now I’m holding out hope that the 1% chance of Styles and Nakamura closing the show happens.

That's cute and admirable. Just enjoy the fact that we get Styles/Nakamura, probably wind up with a Zayn-Owens match, and the greatness that will be Takeover: New Orleans.

And I personally think Rousey-Flair could be phenomenal. Reports say that Rousey has been in depth training since last summer.
